Viola
The famous 1697 Andrea Guarneri viola known as the 'ex-Primrose' is the model for Raymond's viola. This is a favorite instrument of violists
such as Nobuko Imai and Pinchas Zukerman.

Andrea Guarneri was the first Cremonese maker to realize that a smaller, well designed viola could provide the necessary agility in playing and sufficient depth of sonarity, therefore the size became a norm.
