Raymond's Strad violin is copied from the outline of the celebrated 1716 Salabue Stradivari also know as the Messiah. This model, made on the PG form, is one of the finest examples of Stradivari's golden period.

Guarneri Model Violin
Raymond's Guarneri model violin is influenced by the 1734 Rode. This example is from the middle period of Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu's work when he maintained great consistency and a high level of craftsmanship.
Measurement: body length 353 mm
The expressive power of Guarneri violins is a result of several characteristics from the design and positioning of the C bouts and f holes to the thicker graduations. Many violinists feel that there is a typical del Gesu sound with exceptional qualities and ease of playability.
